Dr. Maurine Kwende, is a learning and leadership connoisseur who transforms leaders and executives into inspiring leaders through her consulting firm, EMK Learning Solutions LLC. With over 25 years of experience, she’s a certified sought-after speaker, executive leadership coach, trainer, consultant, educator, and author who empowers leaders and organizations to become places people want to work. She empowers higher education leaders, chief learning officers and corporate leaders so they can be equipped to self-empower and empower others. Her signature EMK Leadership Academy equips leaders with the skills to become the kind of leader’s people want to work for through cohort-based programs, executive leadership coaching, training, consulting and instructional design.
Her expertise spans executive leadership coaching, leadership development, research, impactful training programs, strategic planning and innovative instructional design.
She is also a certified DISC and FACET 5 Consultant.
She holds a Ph.D. in Learning Technologies Design Research and a Chief Talent Officer Executive Certification from George Mason University.
